Burundi’s coffee industry faced tough times with potato disease, but it’s bouncing back. Small farmers, each with around 200-250 trees, resulting in around 200-300 kilos of cherry per year on average, collect forces to offer lots like this fruity one from Kayanza. Each tree’s yield may seem modest, but when combined, they create opportunities for these families to sustain themselves and contribute to the vibrant coffee industry.
